MiniCHART - Harassment in the Workplace

This MiniCHART gives an extensive summary of the Code of Good Practice on the Prevention and Elimination of Harassment in the Workplace.

South Africa regards all forms of harassment as a form of unfair discrimination and constitutes a barrier to equity and equality in the workplace. Therefore, all forms of harassment such as sexual harassment, gender-based violence, bullying, and racial, ethnic or social origin harassment must be eliminated.

This Code identifies the steps that employers must take, including the development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices that will lead to workplaces that are free of harassment.
